ActressMulti-talented Taiwanese-Texan actor, voice actor and performer, Gloria Tsai, is making moves and creating waves! After building her resume and becoming SAG eligible in Texas and Florida within a few years, she is rapidly on her way to reaching her acting goals. Gloria caught the acting bug when she was cast as the lead in a class play when she was 8 years old. Although there were only a few Asian women role models for her at that time, she secretly wanted to be a "triple threat" - actress, dancer and singer. She continued studying theater and acting throughout high school until other school activities took precedence. Gloria was excited to return to Sierra Madre Playhouse where she was cast as the understudy for the role of Annie Jump Cannon in "Silent Sky". Not only was the understudy cast guaranteed two public performances, but Gloria also got to perform all weekday matinees for students of the Pasadena Unified School District. "Silent Sky" ran September 9, 2022 to October 9, 2022.

Gloria was in "Sex", a virtual play produced by Play *Your Part Seattle. Featuring a diverse cast from across the US, this revival of Mae West's 1926 play showcased original music and burlesque dance numbers. This unique virtual production was broadcasted live December 4-19, 2020 via YouTube and audiences could view from the comfort of their home or anywhere in the world! Gloria was cast as an ensemble member of Sierra Madre Playhouse's production of "The Joy Luck Club"! This was the most authentic production of the Amy Tan classic story ever.

"First Date" is a short film produced by Stranger Mornings, directed and written by Rendalee Singleton. Gloria plays Renee, a young single school teacher on a first date with Justin, played by Nick Nunn. This film was screened at the Flicks by Chicks Film Festival in Dallas on October 21, 2017.

"The Propaganda" is a clip from "The Earth Below", a short film directed by Christine Chen of Moth to Flame Films, which was entered into the 2016 HBO Asian Pacific American Visionaries Short Film Competition. Gloria is "The Matriarch" in this SciFi project, which is loosely based on "Madame Butterfly" and set in a futuristic world that is inhabited by women only.
